    Does Cindy know about/aboot this? You ARE getting married, and Im told by Julie that its "Forever"
    They can be removed by grinding them. The trouble with the bolt ons, and your frame, is that they compress the frame a bit, and loosen. Then you have to tigten them again, further compressing the boxed frame inward. If this is continued, the frame integrity will be compromised, and can begin to rip.

    Cindy knows that I canoot get rid of her.

    I thought of that issue as well. The only solution I came up with was to weld in tubes between the frame rails for the bolts to run through.. A bit severe, I know, but the right way to do it. Just as permanent as weld on, I think.

    I agree. But what stops the weld on plates from pushing through the frame sides under load? Not that I ever plan on testing them that much.
