Nope. It is a pain in the ass. Just primer and paint.

 

i have to do some rust removal this summer. my frame has a lot of rust on it

my stock skid plate is almost all rust

Here's a good one for you all. Monday, mt satellite radio comes up with "antenna not found", so I figure it finally died. I had a new radio overnighted to be delivered today. I installed the new one and new antenna tonight. Took the headliner down, ran it behind trim and under the dash, toook about an hour. I fired up the new radio and it said "antenna not found". Tech support had me hook up the old antenna and the damn thing worked just fine. FML

 

it was warm today but we had a cold north wind...

mine just did the same thing last week. the antenna's are not waterproof! i tore it all out of my truck and smashed the shit out of the antenna to see what was inside the lil plastic housing...... everything was covered in a thick coat of rust

no wonder i had no signal at all

replaced the antenna with a new one and its working fine now

 

It...is...not...funnny

 

It might be a little funny.

stupid antennas...... i sealed mine up with silicone just to be safe

 

The guy that sold me the antenna said they usually last about 4 years.

 

Just ordered another antenna. This one had better work. Now, I have spent all of the money that I saved by ordering through Amazon.

 

Touche. I do recall laughing abit about that.

 

do you have both units activated right now?
