Susan, do you have a well? We had to replace the expansion tank a few weeks ago and shut the water main off. Water was dingy looking for a couple of days after that. I think the gunk in the lines gets dislodged and takes a bit to settle back down. It should clear up pretty quick.

 

I'm on city water, no well for the house. The lines were only nasty for a minute after turning each faucet back on. I'm just wondering where all the crud came from... other than the water heater, no storage tank.

Not necessarily. Think of the problem as when we used to back flush the radiator to remove the crud in the lines. The water flowing the opposite way will dislodge some of the build up in the lines.

It would also be wise of you to clean the screen on the water line before the showerhead.

Purchased rims and tires today. Street rims and tires, LOL, I hope my Tacoma is never forced off the road.

However I took a load of rock to the dump this past week and had to climb the trash mountain where the trash truck dumps their loads. It made it OK and I was impressed. The stench and the glass makes me not want to go there again either.

 

Pick a Saturday in july. I have everything we would need.

I've never had to do anything to a radiator but wherever it came from - YUK My water pressure seems higher, too.... that's kinda why I was asking how a house is plumbed... seems strange that messing with a water heater "caused" the crud and extra pressure.

I have the generic bed mat - not the Toyota one

 

and the skid but I was more referring to the deep red.
