    My termite guy says to look for piles of "house" (wood shavings) or a swarm of termites (when there are too many, some with grow wings and look for another place to live :mad:)

    He comes once a year and looks all through my house for the little scum bags - thankfully I haven't seen any.

    Have you tried the bait stations outside? Terminex (I think) sells them at Lowe's and HD. You put them every so many feet around your house and that will tell you, you have them, as well as kill them :D

    I wouldn't use any of those. Get some bait stations and that will tell you if you have them... then call a pro. Those can't get into the ground/wood at the concentration needed the way the pro's do. If you have them in your house, they will have to find them and repair any damage they have caused.

    My guy dug a trench around the house and poured some chemical that only a "bug guy" can get.
