    If my a/c at work goes out, I'm going home... don't care if I get paid or not... Our building stays warm even with the air on...

    Hope he comes out soon to fix your a/c...

    nope, im already off-- its the a/c at my apartment thats out :frusty:

    i called yesterday and they said they'd send a guy out today but they didnt-- i left a message, but im going to call again tomorrow. i'll be pissed if its not fixed by the weekend

    That really sucks... what's the temp up there? Do they live in the building? Show up at their front door with a pillow and over night bag and ask if they have a/c... :D

    haha not a bad idea, but no-- they have an office which conveniently closes at the same time i get off work-- luckily its not incredibly hot, but ive been spoiled by the a/c and really miss not having it :pout:

    When the temp gets to the low 70's at night and not too hot during the day, I don't turn my a/c on.

    I need to get a whole house fan and put it in, and I could go longer without the a/c. There are days when it cools down at night, but can't get the cool air inside.... :(

    thats the worst!! its cooler outside than inside, ive got all the windows open trying to get it circulating but its not working-- and 70's are nothing, in the winter i set my HEATER to low 70's!!:D:D

    i usually keep my place around mid-high 60's-- like we were saying yesterday, easier to put on more layers and get warm than to strip down and cool off....although i guess that's an idea i can save in case any ladies come over...:spy:

    Do you have a fan or two? put them in the windows....

    I don't like a big electric bill, so i set mine on 62 in the winter and 78 in the summer and have a fan on and I'm comfortable. Just wear a sweater in the winter and shorts/tshirt in summer :eek:
