    I know this isn't the place but I need to ask a technical question.

    So I have come to determine the injectors aren't firing in the pickup. This leads me to two things: ECU or the solenoid resistor. Now there is no way to tell if the ECU is bad without just swapping it with a known good one. I have tested the resistor per the FSM; which is supposed to have a 2-3 ohm value per side (two sides). It reads 3.3-3.4 per side. Do you think being .4 ohms over would cause it to not fire? I find this odd.

    Ok....Im thinking the resistor, as its much cheaper than an ECU. .4 ohms is more than 10% out, so it could be the issue...

    Thats what I am thinking. The previous owner said he had trouble starting it. He could bump start it then it quick firing all together.

    True, I do have the proper voltages present but that isn't an indication it is good. It just means all my circuits and sensors are okie-dokie.
