nevermind, I found your build thread. Let me know if you ever touch your body mount. I'm trying to figure out if I'll need to get mine cut because I hear the uca's push the wheel farther back on compression.

I see. If you had your mind made up about them already and want to wait for something more suitable that makes sense. I thought that they just came out and you just decided to get them over the dakars.

    285/70/17 yeah.

Probably will. I haven't stuffed em yet. No rubbing during daily driving, but the suspension has yet to settle and roads cause 0 articulation. Gonna do the "eyeball trim" today, then get it somewhere soon and flex it out to see where contact occurs and clean it up.

Cab mount will likely need to be done eventually.

Dubuis is the area I'm going to put in for. My BIL and his wife live in Stuart. He is a captain for Play Time Charters.

Oh man! I guess we'll both have to chop it. I wonder if a bfh can take care of it.

Did you trim anything in front of the tires yet?

I'm not familiar with Dubuis but Stuart is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours from me. That sounds like an awesome job.

Iknow that I have said this before, but why doesn't Courtney host Powerblock naked, or at least in a bikini.

I haven't trimmed a thing yet. 34 psi, flat pavement, truck on the tires they go lock to lock without rubbing. However, in a few places they're only clearing the fender well lining by 1/2 inch or so...you can tell they will DEFINITELY rub if flexed.

I can do it all sub the welding. I'll try to find a local shop to do it. Did you have to hammer the pinch weld?

Misspelled it. Actually it's spelled Dupuis and this management area is just east of Okeechobee. And yes he has a pretty cool job. We went down and fished with him this past summer and visited Sea World amongst other things.

Well, we started the process. Of course, since we're way outside factory equipment, my alignment guy and I had a long talk about suspension deformation at speed, larger tires with more rubber allowing more suspension deformation. We got it at a good start point (about .01 degrees toe, .4 degrees camber, and caster at 3.0) and I'll watch the handling and tire wear over the next couple months. Then he and I will get back together and adjust based on what the truck's telling us.

Other than the trimming, I'm gonna pick up some grade 8 washers from Lowe's an space the carrier bearing a bit...I've got some takeoff shudder from 0-5mph, but no vibes at any other speed. If the carrier bearing spacing doesn't help, I'll stick some shims on the axle.

Might be. I'm just gonna take it step by step. That's why I'm gonna space it with washers before picking up a kit, just to see if it helps. If it helps the issue, then I'll probably spring for a couple billet blocks to space it down, or that HOT new bracket that beefed is building.
