    So i just got a call from my Sgt...apparently my region is holding a Christmas party/awards banquet on Thursday night (of which i had previously not been made aware of)

    I dont normally go to these things...because...well...i have better things to do on my days off...but APPARENTLY this year...I am REQUIRED to be there...so I told my Sgt fine...i'd be there...and he said "oh and you gotta look nice because the sheriff will be there"

    the bad part is that youre only REQUIRED to be there when you are receiving an award...i dont recall doing anything to get an award this year

    I mean i've caught 9 burglary suspects in the past year or so...but i doubt thats why
