    Hooking is when you use your stick to restrict the opposing players movement

    If the goalie catches the puck he can 'freeze' it , stopping play

    The puck has to cross the blueline into the attacking end before any players otherwise they are offside

    Icing is a two line pass , if you dump the puck into the opponents end from your side of the centre line and it crosses the line at the end of the rink that the net is on it is called icing .

    Your defenceman must touch the puck before any of the attacking players for this to be called.

    Icing results in a faceoff in the defensive zone of the team that iced the puck , also the team that iced the puck cannot change any of their players that were on the ice at the time.

    The attacking team may change players
