    Yeah, officers of the law aren't granted any special privileges when going through checkpoints. We get people (pilots especially) who think that they are above the screening... Unless you are in uniform, you are not granted anything above a normal passenger.

    Yeah, that too. When that occurs though the officers are usually driving (I mean unless it is international I suppose), are usually in uniform, and they don't come through the normal checkpoint. I believe that the local LEOs clear them...

    We're not in uniform in any extradition, Domestic or International. We have letterhead with official orders and our dispatch center contacts the airport upon our arrival so we can meet a liason at the security check point. They walk us to the plane, board us before anyone else, introduce us to the the pilots and any Federal Air Marshals that are on board.

    Hmm... Okay, I am just unfamiliar with it. I don't believe I have ever been there when that has gone down, if it ever has. I mean, I have worked with FAMs more than once, but never dealt with prisoners and such moving via airplane.

    Ok....Found out one of my air ducts was crushed (pulled off vents to clean, and looked inside with a flashlight). I fabbed up a wooden lever system, shoved it into the air duct, and proceded to force it back into shape. It worked! All is good now.....

    WEll.....Julies Mom kept saying she was "Hot" in the living room. I didnt think much of it. Then I found the air duct crushed to about 1/3 of what it should be. Now......Seems down right chilly in the living room.
