I shot the walls and then masked them off and re-shot in the ceilings. Everything was masked accordingly.

Larry, I painted for 9 years and was a crew boss before I left. I also did numerous side jobs.

How did I go cheap?? He's the one who was on the budget and couldn't afford the amount or quality of material. I worked with what I had and did a pretty damm good job on it. It was way better than what was origially there.

I spent 6, 15 hours days, prepping and repaint the entire house ON MY OWN.

I'll let you paint my place. Being as its significantly smaller, the pay would be 3/4 of a donut, and 1.2 cups of coffee.....

He bought Walmart brand paint and I painted several rooms 3 times AFTER priming it with flat paint. His complaint was the chunks in the paint, which I strained 3 times on occasion. The chunks he was talking about was exhisting drywall texture. No effing way, we were gonna srip al the walls and re texture his entire house!

You are NOT a sissy. My biggest fear is that I'm gonna have something done and the novacaine won't work. My mother was one of those people. She had to have gas instead.
    Do you need a sedative?
Wow. That sucks. Welcome home Curt!!! I assume there were no snakes in the plane.... :spy:

Okay, after including the textureing detail hassels, which I have had to deal with, I might just accidently tossed a molotov at him while I tossed the gun back.

In Arizona walls and ceilings are textured. We don't do plaster. It's sheet rock, then textured with drywall mud. The type of texture this house had, was Skip Trough. Taking broad knife with mud on it, skimming it across the wall. It's a delicate process.

For being a paint contractor for 5 years (you're 23, did you start at 17 as a conctractor?) I would think you'd know about this. I spent 4 years as an apprentice, 3 years as a Journeyman, then made crew boss before I went to the police academy.
