    more than likely because once the real "cold" hits i should be out of FTO and in my own vehicle...right now i have to preserve my battery life on my phone because i cant take my charger in the other car

    also i have to minimize my cell phone use while riding with my supervisor


    it may not be as cold as other areas...but it gets cold enough to be somewhat of a crime deterrent
