Has anyone here ever purchased a new vehicle using fleet salesman? I'm told they get paid for quantity and sell at cheaper prices.

Yes over the ph. only then go in. Also see if you can find a pro buyer in your 10 20 ask your bank or CU they are 2 or 3 bills but they beat the dealer up for you,All that said toyota stealerships are not doing much on the good deals right now. This time of year I would hold out till the new ones hit the lots.................... Jim

See now some people have said that even when the 2012 hits the lots in September it won't effect the 2011's because they are still in demand. You think I should wait? I'll check with my bank too. I've got to call them to see what rate they'll give me so I have that to negotiate with.

Talk to your bank or CU before you go on any lot that way you know what you can spend, Dont fall for dealer bull. Ask if they know a buyer, they are good at getting a good price in your 10 20. Dont fall for this deal is today only crap. Also try internet sales some time they are good. Don't let anyone push you into something you don't want 5 or 6 years is a long time to not be happy with your new truck. Jim

I'm not a good negotiator so that's why I'm trying to figure all this stuff out. I already know exactly what I want, color and all and I'm not budging on anything. I've read some places that the 2012 is going to be the same price as the 2011 so if it is I'd be better off getting a 2012, no? Susan had mentioned the Internet sales too, and I'll try that I think. Most if the fleet sales info I've been reading on dealerships require that you buy 10 vehicles or have some other requirement. I definitely won't let someone push me into something I don't want. :) that's fo sho!

I would stay in shopping mode till the new ones come out That way if there is anything new the price will come down on the left over's. Trucks are like looking for a new pair of hi $ shoes You dont buy the first ones you see. If I LIKE IT AND ITS TOO MUCH $ I STILL PASS. You have to get a deal that feels good to you... Jim

Lol I think I'll wait for the new ones to come out since it's so close. But it will feel like an eternity. :( I already know what I can spend so that's not a problem. And years ago when I still worked an office job I bought a $250 pair of Chanel high heels and didn't think twice about it. Money well spent though. They still look good.

I wish I could claim forgetting sometimes...... But we get sued many times even when we do everything perfectly. Do you have a dictionary I could borrow?? Or maybe I can download it on me iPad. There's probably an app for that. :p:p

Yes. More than once and knock on wood (I'll just knock on my head) they were all settled or thrown out of court before I ever had to testify. I  I never have to go on trial. And I have very good narrative writing skills. I've learned a lot over the years and I'm always reading up on cases.

Nope. I was at Sax 5th Ave shopping for clothes and a purse and happened to see the shoes. Had to have them. I also spent $289 on a Prada wallet and $350 on a Prada purse that day. Before you judge...... The purse and wallet came with a lifetime guarantee. The other day I just found my warranty cards so I can send them both to be refurbished. :D

Everything from response time to the route we took to the hospital. A lot of times a patient might be suing a company or another person for injuries and we get stuck in the middle having to testify what we saw.
Looks like I'll be waiting 2 months to finish searching. :(
Haha! I'm not really an impulse buyer and that was a long ago. :p
