    Not close enough to go to for dinner... 3 hours for one son and 34 hours for the other one :(

    holy crap!

    lets see, it takes an hour to the inlaws so thats 2 hours for them and it takes 2 hours and 20 mins for my family, so a total of 4 hours and 20 mins of driving, not including any driving around there

    When my sister lived in Statesville, NC she and my son were almost exactly the same driving distance from me and the same for my son - to here as well as Janie's house. Almost a perfect triangle.
