    We thought he was about 9, we've had him for 7 years now. The vet thinks maybe he's 11 or 12.
    We got him about 7 years ago (or he found us). We brought him to a vet who thought he was about 18 months then, but the new vet thinks he must have been older.

    I always hated teachers that assigned homework but hadn't gone over that subject yet. It doesn't make sense to me. If they are the teacher, they are supposed to teach me how to do it, then test me on it to make sure i know my material. If i figure it out on my own, why would i need a teacher?

    exactly, and if the teacher does nothing but read from the textbook what good is he. I always worked ahead of the upcoming lectures, so when the instructor would explain it in his own words it clicked and I proceeded to kick ass on the exams.
