as expensive as hockey is to play here, you would think it would be even more expensive to play there... assuming they have a rink or two in hawaii.

 

There is no rink in the community I live in .

 

surely there is a frozen pond or backyard rink for a few months of the year.

 

No backyard rinks and the lakes rarely get thick enough to skate on . Maybe once every 3 or 4 years .

 

well then, I'd say thats sucks but I haven't even skated in a couple years. off the top of my head there's 5 rinks, probably a dozen ponds that the city puts nets on and maintains, and 4 outdoor rinks the city sets up in school yards.

 

It hasn't even got to 0C here yet

 

my life revolved around soccer for 14 years. n i only watch world cup and sometimes euro cup.

still no snow here, not that stayed anyway. been relatively warm for november, next week is supposed to get colder though, highs are below 0C and lows around -10C.
