    back in college i made some. It was apple cider, everclear and some cinnamon sticks. heat it till almost boiling, then enjoy.

    My parents had planned to stay at my cousin's house for xmas eve and xmas morning (cousin has 2 little kids and mom and dad miss the chaos of kids on xmas morning) and then come to my place later on xmas day, have dinner with me, do gifts, etc and stay with me xmas night. I wanted no part of the chaos at my cousin's house because his kids are spoiled rotten and I honestly can't stand to be around them. Also my cousin's wife's family is very....different...and I try to avoid them as much as possible. These plans have been in place for weeks. Fast forward to yesterday when my cousin's wife called my mom and basically uninvited them from any xmas activity at their house - she doesn't want company sleeping over xmas eve, and will only allow my folks to be around after the kids get their presents and blah blah blah. This isn't the first time she's backed out of plans with my parents and hurt their feelings...I knew she would find a way to mess with everyone's holiday. my parents don't have any grand kids and spoil my cousin's kids as if they were their own. Yet this girl is so ungrateful and spoiled and treats people like crap. mom called me and was crying, hysterical. Now she doesn't know what to do - go over there and get a hotel for two nights just so they can see the kids for maybe an hour or so....ridiculous! I told her to stick the presents for the kids in the mail and just forget the whole thing.
