    clean cuts don't hurt nearly as much. 2 years ago I sliced my thumb in half from the tip to the first knuckle. at first I was like "oh crap, I have to go get a band aid" then I pulled my glove off and seen a flap of meat hanging off my thumb. a 5 hour wait in the ER and 9 stitches later I was good to go.
