    EI sucks ass, I make good money and it was paying me barely 1600$/month when I was in school, which was wonderfull when rent up here is 1600$/month.. I moved back with rents for a few months back when I was 21 cause of that.

    AND my claim took so long they didn't even start paying me till 4 months later, coincidently the week AFTER I graduated... least they backpaid, but still. Wtf

    That happened to me at school last year. Supposed to be 2 weeks till you get your EI, I got it the 7th week I was at school (8 week program)

    Yea but with trade school you can start the process early so you start getting it when you need it. Thats what my buddies have done. When your unemployed then you gotta freaken wait..
