I'd typically say sliders hitting the body but you don't have any so I'm slightly stumped. Body Mounts are definitely a possibility.

Can you figure out which direction the noise is coming from when driving?

Its coming from the front somewhere. I can hit bumps, turn, and brake with no sounds. But as soon as I hit something off camber that makes it flex it sounds like a metal on metal scrape with a pop. Similar to a shitty car with blown out LCA bushings when you go in reverse and hit the brakes lol

Not really, it's just them hitting the pinch weld underneath the cab, its more annoying then anything. You can just notch both sides around the leg then hammer back the piece with a chisel or whatever you can get in there so its no longer close to it. It'll most likely be one of the front legs on the sliders.

I used to get a pop like that as well. It was the coil spring moving on the retainers. I added a little more preload and it seemed to go away.

Oh okay, I get what you're getting at now, that analogy actually makes sense to me :p

Still confused if it's none of the usual, Bushings (A-Arms, Steering etc) all good and tight?

Could be an upper inner arm bushing, my kit is about 2 years old and approx 40k miles. Steering is tight, bushings were replaced last year. Replaced lower ball joints last year too but its similar to that noise so I am going to check those again. Its just odd because it doesnt pop if I hit something hard enough to make the suspension move, it only does it if I am going really slow and it flexes the frame

Thats what I am starting to think, when I removed all the interior body panels everything got a lot louder so maybe I am just noticing it. I found many places with large splits in the cab. Looks like I may just need to hurry and cage it and get rid of all this flexing nonsense :D

Well I checked pretty much every bolt I can see and found a few a little loose here and there and took it for a drive and it still pops. Is a carrier bearing possible? It's been on its last legs and I'm sure the in bolted tranny didn't help. I've seem to develop a bit of a shake around 75mph on the hwy but that could be my tires. But maybe I'm flexing the rear end and popping the carrier bearing and hearing it pop through the cab

Yeah, but after 2 years you'd be used to the race truck noises and notice things that are actually a problem :notsure:

Ok just found one more set of fairly loose bolts. The bolts that hold the upper shock mount into the coil bucket, driver side had 2 loose, and all 3 passenger side was fairly loose. I'll drive it tomorrow and see
