I wear Levi's. They last forever. I have 2 pair that I use for work that are 10 years old and are just now getting holes in the seat

Strictly Arizona Boot Cut here as well. I usually buy out the store when they have my size and in the wash I like. I have not found another jean that fit better, and I've tried A LOT. Best of all they're cheap and they last.

I've been a big fan of 501's forever.I actually remember being the first guy in my school to own a pair.

For Christmas this year my wife bought me a couple of pairs of Gap's 'cause she said I need a change.

I like levis. My girlfriend bought me a pair of (Im not bullshitting) $210.00 jeans. Shes crazy, she wears them. they are called true religion. And they sucked. Im not fat, I have a 34" waist about 190, these fuckin jeans were so tight in the legs they looked painted on. She was laughing, I said "are you sure you got these in the mens section?" I dont know who could wear them, not me tho. Levis or chip and pepper. their stuff is nice, pricey tho.

I used to wear Express Jeans, because I like the way they fit and looked, and they last for at least a couple years. I had a girlfriend who worked there for a couple years, and I got 35% off plus any coupons she brought home. Now we've broken up and I haven't bought any new jeans in about a year... So I dunno

I wear American Eagle Jean when I'm trying to look nice and Carhartt's when I'm working. American eagles fit me better than most and Carhartts are almost indestructible.

No shit, I was in Macy's about 8 months ago and they had a table of Marc Ecko jeans (like 10 different styles). The tags on these things were anywhere from $150 - $300. I mean these are freakin blue jeans for Pete's Sake! Some of them had pretty cool looking patchwork on the ass pockets, but come on...they weren't gold lined. I did try on a pair, (just to see what $300 jeans felt like), and your right, very tight through the leg. (I'm 5'11, 190lb, 34 in). I'll leave them for the Metrosexual Yuppies!

P.S. No offense to any Metrosexual Yuppies!

I like my BF in Levis, I think they are 527. He takes me shopping with him and we go into the dressing room together to check out the fit ;).

I wear mostly DKNY from Ross or Marshals cause I won't pay full price. I have a few Gap I liked and some American Eagle, but I can only get my a$$ into a few of their styles .

You guys (men) have it EASY when shopping for jeans!!!

My gawd, I'm old school and like traditional Levi's straight cut, relaxed or straight fit...505's (daily jeans). For work - I usually go to Walmart for the cheap stuff.

I went to Walmart yesterday and I swear to gawd, all they have anymore are boot cut (GAG!!!), Stretch, and frilly frilly ugly designs!! ARGH!!!
I hate the stretch jeans because they get *lines* on them after washing them several times. They look stupid. And I'm not into the boot cut or the frilly stuff. Just give me some plain old cheap boring looking jeans for work - that's all I want. Yeah, styles change....when you're young and still in school.

Oh yeah....womens clothing/jeans comes in 3 different sizes. Womens, petite's, and Misses. I'll be trying on clothes in all 3 departments just to find something that fits!

Four departments--I still have to shop in juniors for jeans because they are the only department that has jeans long enough for me! LOL! Apparently, misses and women around here only come with 32" legs. I. however, did not come with 32" legs, specially not with boots on. Therefore I am subject to the wims of teenage fashion. Sigh. :( Not that I don't try all of the departments, it's just that it never works out the way I hope....the right pair of jeans that's not too short never magically appears in misses....

I still shop in Juniors because well Womens just don't fit right, I've tried on just about every style/brand of jean around and they don't work for me, too much junk in my truck and I'm short . Petites fit better than regular womens since they are cut different, but are usually a little short for my liking, they are 29 1/2" inseam and I like a 30-31. Juniors low rise is usually at my belly button so I guess I have a short rise, womens go up under my boobs  and I always have the get my pants shortened since I'm only 5'2". Though a lot of 'todays' styles are simply rediculous, I hate shopping .
If I find a pair I like I'll buy multiple pairs and in all the colors they have :D. I wish female sizes came like mens with a waist size and a length size, only some brands offer short, reg, long styles.

I agree! I went out over the weekend after my last pair of very old jeans finally became too embarrassing to wear in the butt area due to holes. Cleaned the store out of my size in longs and tried them on in the store and then brought them home to try on. Took one pair back and kept the other three, so I should be okay for a bit. One pair is particularly comfortable. :) Usually I try on 10 pairs and get nothing. Jean shopping is just depressing.

    FoxySandChick & Charli,
I can totally relate! Damn, forgot about Juniors!

I had just as much trouble shopping for dressy shirts. Petites fit well around the waist but were too tight in the shoulders. Womens fit around the shoulders & boobs (laugh) but were HUGE around my waste. ARGH!!

Misses seems to be the best for me, but GAWD...I hate the styles!!

For all those reasons you guys mention - I HATE shopping for clothes!!
Guess that just shows how old I am.....

Charli, have you ever seen the "Tall girls shop".It was a favorite of my wife until she discovered Gap has a tall line.(She's a 6 footer.)Now she shops Gap online but the trouble is that they won't deliver to Canada. What we do is have packages sent to a spot in ME which is only an hour away and I shoot down and pick them up.

You might want to check those two for long jeans.:)
