If I could depend on the resale value as much as I can in the Tacoma... Id be very tempted to buy one... but, I dont think the value will hold like a Tacoma...

No way. Once the hype of a jeep truck wears off they'll be 30k or so

The wrangler is probably the vehicle that holds its value better then any other. Beat to crap keeps from the 90's still bring decent money.

I like it......But it needs to be lifted and bigger tires just to make it look better. It would be fun for a weekend vehicle but I would have to pass on it for a daily driver.

Personally, if I'm concerned with resale value, I figure I shouldn't be buying. Kinda like consulting a divorce attorney before getting married. If I'm spending money on a vehicle, I plan to get my money's worth out of it. I average keeping a vehicle 10yrs as long as it's trouble free. At the end of 10 years, I really don't care what I sell it for. If I'm thinking of selling before I ever buy, I'm not buying.

Resale value of my Tacoma bought new won't be much when I'm done with it, and that's they way I want it.

I'd rock it as a daily, only if my commute was under 10 miles. It sucks enough driving the Tacoma 200+ miles a week, I spend aroung $180-$200 in gas a month. I don't imagine this getting better mileage, probably worse.

If you look at the reviews(not jeeps #'s) it's better then the Tacoma.
