the whole power steering assembly was trash on that thing. sounded like a hound dog any time you tried to make a sharp turn no matter what you had worked on it or fluids replaced.

It was a Chrysler thing. The family Caravan used to have it too. Guess it was a audible warning of sorts against keeping the steering at full lock for too long.

At least you can eat a Taco, what the f*&k does a jeep taste like?

BTW Did the jeep thing; broke too much with little or no effort. 9 months with 2 axle rebuilds and a blown radiator while crossing a pond (2 ft deep).

I have both of them and the Jeep would run circles around my Tacoma. Both do good, but the Jeep is better offroad in my opinion. They both have their uses in my day to day operating and will continue.

With that being said, I don't have one of "those" sayings on my Jeep. I don't understand the point of most of the either.

i had a jeep and a car before my tacoma. i WILL buy a jeep again. anything i broke was my fault because i was being stupid but there were MANY times that i should've broken something and didn't.

tacoma's just don't work the way jeeps do offroad. jeeps are limber and have a S#!T ton of flex, much more and WAY better than the IFS on a tacoma.

IMO the Wrangler's on-road ride and handling is really unpleasant, whereas the Taco can be heavily modified to LT, etc. and still be liveable as a daily driver.
