How's it going I'm fairly new to the Tucson area. I wanted to know where the good offroading spots are. I am from the central coast of ca so I used to go to the Pismo dunes but now I don't know of anyone places here in Tucson.

Well if you are looking for something like Pismo then your best bet is to head to Glamis, Buttercup, or Gordon's Well. If you are looking for something a little slower, rock crawling style then head out to the east side of Tucson to Redington Pass, there are plenty of trails up in that area.

Easy J! He's got a prerunner. Redington might not be his best bet to try alone. Get in on the next run with us that is "prerunner friendly". We have a lot of rock crawling trails here that can be a bad call for a prerunner alone.

Jchavez, welcome to Arizona and welcome to this thread! This thread contains some awesome people that get together and create trouble like Snowtank said. You are more than welcome to come to our next event that will most likely take place in June. We hope you can make it.

Edit: Good call Matt! Looks like Harrelson and I can have a prerunner threesome now.

    Some stuff here and there....
California prerunner is fast across the sand.
Arizona phoenix prerunner fast across desert and deals with jumps and/or cracks in road.
Arizona tucson prerunner ....well it is going to have to have to rock crawl and get scratched and towed by a jeep.

Haha that's what i think the difference is. If anyone has any input please add. Thank you haha.

Oh and as for last night.......... we were as drunk as mike usually is around 10am posting random ass shit.

Hey, I did pretty good in spots being only a prerunner.

In all seriousness though, it is different unless you count Death valley. The vastness of the desert here in Arizona is great for prerunners.
