    Light bar showed up today. Now I have all the pieces to install. Now it's the waiting game for saturday.

    2,700 miles one way. I'd need 300 gallons of fuel to do a round trip if I average 18mpg, which is below my current average.

    300 gallons at an average of $3.70 is roughly $1,110.00, plus gas in town and off road.

    Luckily I can sleep in the back with my bed contraption, but still expensive as fuck when flying costs $300

    Sorry guys my truck is made for Glamis, and nowhere to ride dirt bikes in the Dragoons, so I'm out too

    The difference is we choose off weekends for everyone in the dunes because most are afraid of the crowds. If you went to Glamis during a holiday weekend there is no comparison

    Huckfest is October. Robby and BJ are usually there for Thanksgiving, which is usually the weekend after the Baja 1000. This is why Glamis has no equal, we sat on the edge of the hill sipping beers watching this for an hour

    I tried to get everyone to go halloween/thanksgiving/new years the last few years, they are all afraid of the crowds :( I prefer the big crowds. Its pretty fun jumping a dirt bike and looking over and seeing a huge crowd watch. But no worries we will catch you guys on the next one, thats why I objected the 24th for dragoons from the beginning but oh well :)
