I ruined a bottle of fireball Saturday after working 14 hours, thought it would relax my stiff muscles. Well the fireball had it's revenge on Sunday morning..... Lets see that video....

Rinzler survived Moab without any real damage  Got a slight driveline vibe at 30mph after dropping the diff on a big ass ledge but not one damn tug was needed for Hells revenge or TOTW muahaha

Just a bunch of old crap
UPDATE on the Knoll Lake trip:

    • Taking place the weekend of July 10-12 (Fri-Sun)
    • I'm heading out there on Friday morning to get the spot. A couple other guys coming out later that day after work
    • Spot at the top of the ridge to fit quite a few trucks. 200 yard walk to the lakeshore down a small hill.
    • Trout fishing and crawdad trapping will happen. Last year we hauled out over a thousand crawdads and did a huge boil
    • Sandy spot right by the camp for horseshoes. I have a shoe set I bring
    • Open camping here, no fees required. 4wd recommended just for a couple spots that are tough to get up out of once down at camp. The main road in is easy 2wd. Locked 2wd should be fine, and high clearance isn't really required here. Rim Road is a graded road so passenger cars can travel most of it
    • Plenty of room for quite a few tents, and good clearance in the trees for RTTs.
    • Nice flat ground and a couple big firepits are always there. We will burn any and everything, based on fire restrictions. Usually monsoons kick in by then and fire restrictions get lifted. It's in the Apache-Sitgreaves forest, NOT Tonto, so we'll be checking the appropriate forest service for restrictions beforehand. If we have a huge group, we'll need some trucks to run up the trail for more wood. Anything you can grab on the way in will help, as the area has been picked pretty clean.
    • Should have the whole area to ourselves for shenanigans. Shooting not allowed in this area because we're too close to roads and prepared campsites across the lake
    Map:
    https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z0MCIggAVXR4.kAQK9qqoRqNo&usp=sharing

I plotted it to come in from I-17 via the 260 highway through Camp Verde. You can also take the 87 (Beeline) up through Payson, east on the 260, and turn at the top of the Rim going towards Woods Canyon Lake. When the pavement of Rim Rd turns to dirt, keep going along Rim Rd past Bear Canyon Lake for a bit until the turnoff on the map. Follow it to the end of the point. Mind a couple of wrong turns along this last part of the trail and follow my map. You may want to print it out or load into your own GPS as there will be no phone signal out at the end.

    Who's in?

Great, guys! It's a definite for me and at least 2 others. We do this trip at least once per summer, and we just did a backpacking trip up by Chevelon Lake last weekend so this July trip will be good timing. The crawdads really come out in the warmer months anyways, and we want to have a good haul like we did last year.

We usually all pitch in for a big pot luck dinner on Saturday night. Usually a big taco bar where we all bring some sort of pre-made meats for the tacos and all pitch in for the tortillas, lettuce, onions, salsas, etc. It's always a great time.

Great! We'll have a big freestanding very large 2 burner propane stove that can hold 2 large pots. We'll have 1 big 15 quart pot, but we always need more. Also, if someone could bring an extra cookie sheet or some butcher paper to spread out, we like to just dump the cooked crawdads right out onto something, sprinkle some Zatarain's all over it, and start eating.
