    Just a bunch of old crap
    Tested my limits this past weekend up on Rim Road. Came around a curve going about 45mph and hit an exposed boulder in the trail that was recently exposed by the grader and by recent rain. I've hit a thousand of these and this one was the straw that broke the LCA's back. The axle separated but didn't tear the boot. Got it popped back together and got the boot back on after cutting off the clamp and using good ole zip ties to hold it on. New LCA shuttled up to me by a good friend in Phoenix, had it back on the trail within 2 hours. Ratchet straps held things in place so I could steer it off the road to a flat spot to camp for the night while I waited for parts the next afternoon.

    That sucks! I've been wanting to do Rim Road for the last couple of months. Good to know you can't go too fast. I will take my time doing it.
