I'm working on it. Flakes and I discussed and I'll talk with the wife tonight.

She is taking off for a week to Cali alone.. I think I deserve 1 night or 2 with the boys

For real dude you have only done day trips since I have been around!

And I have no preference for which weekend, I am single, no kids, and I don't typically work on the weekends. I'll probably going on all these trips. Snowbby are we still doing a camp trip at the end of September with Keepers?

I can't do the 30th. I have little ones that participate in Halloween. I **MIGHT** be able to get out of it. No promises.

You can come down through Florence, not sure how much distance/time that cuts off though.

Nothing personal but I love another Andrew. :)

This.. I need to spend this holiday with Jerome. He is 10 and needs to get his Halloween on. Later in life he will enjoy slutty costumes and debauchery and won't need me. Now it's all about trick or treating with a father figure :)

This would mean quite a long day in the car but I'm kind of leaning towards using the shorter distance and wheeling when I get there.
Now I'm not saying no just yet. It also depends on how many trucks go down. 24 miles of low gear and a convoy makes for a long day. I heard you guys did it in under 5 hours with 10 trucks.

I looked up carpet hill. That road is intimidating. Is it as crazy as it looks?

Depends on your experience wheeling offroad. If you haven't done much, it can be intimidating. It is pretty intense, I won't deny that!

I don't have much experience but am not an idiot. I am up for the challenge. There will be good people on the trail I am sure I will feel safe.
