    just got a simple lift on her
    there are only ledges in one long section to get to the coke ovens i remember..... i dont know if that part is closed or not.

    i rode my dirtbike through it, did about half of it doubles with a girl. but i had her get off and into a rhino so i could do the rest. not for a beginner. pretty difficult. you will have to wheelie up legdes and what not. LOL

    The rest of box canyon is easy as hell, lots of sand wash and hilly dirt road. I don't think you'd have a problem. All the tough shit is on the side trails like the Coke Ovens, Elvis, Axle Alley, Jackhandle etc.

    It sounds to me that the trail from coke Ovens to Box is partially gated now anyway. I have no idea if there is a way to connect them unless it's way back. Have to do some mapping.

    I heard through the grapevine that there was no way to get from Cochran (south shore of the Gila) to Box Canyon, at least not through the Coke Ovens.

    Yea, it doesn't appear that way on maps. It would be cool to be near the Gila if its flowing but that would mean wheeling in Box and driving back out Price, head south and back to the Gila to camp.
