I have the same question, in the event I'm able to make this trip, I'd always rather run a 4x trail rather than the big bypass (back door 2x friendly). Anybody that's wheeled with me and has run elvis- input would be much appreciated.

I never personally wheeled with any of you. matt i know your truck is set up you would be find just a good spotter an the right lines your truck will make it. Jason if you don't have sliders you may get side damage depending on the lines you take and a spotter, look up some videos on youtube, but the terrain changes a little each time with the rain, rug road is like a forest road compared to elvis.

Im with Q on this one. This is a 4lo and locked trail almost all the way through. Even with sliders and skids damage is still possible with one shift off a good line.

All very true. Trip report from 2 years ago. Even with sliders, Chris bashed in behind the passenger door quite abit.

Even Jake who is an experienced driver hammered his quarter panel on a rock pretty bad. Its just one of those trails that will test you. Nothing easy about it.

Pending date. That could change alot for me. So I'm a maybe until someone puts their big boy pants on and sets a date.

I think someone just needs to pick a date and who ever makes it makes it. Instead of this dancing around with no date shit. At this rate no one will go, atleast if you just pick a date some people will show, even if some can't.

    Just my 2c
