    Thanks for the hard-shell info. It sounds good! I hear you on the part about having camp set up, RTT deployed and then wanting to take the truck for some exploring, run into town, etc. This is why I am considering a small trailer with RTT on it. Would have to drag it through all the tough spots and backing up on a trail would be "fun" with the trailer in tow. Every option has its pro's and con's.

    Mid-late October is our target timeframe for Rug Road 2016, either the 14-16 or the 21-23rd. Weather should be really nice by then!

    And there may be an official AZTW lake trip in the planning stages..
