And my carpal tunnel is getting too bad I don't sleep so... I'm 41 and falling apart

You should really check on the carpal tunnel surgery. People I work with say it really helps. And, as an added bonus...6 weeks off work.

Yeah. I'm super chicken shit about surgeries.... never had one and scared to death so there's that.

 

So buttholes just falling out and stuff, cause not a whole lot left to hurt lol

Yes. I've shot a bunch with a bow and a few with a gun. I just go to be going now.

 

Oh I was just curious...I couldn't do it. They're too beautiful and I'm definitely a girl. I'd be crying lol. I can fish all day long but couldn't shoot anything...

 

Everyone is different. My brother wouldn't shoot an animal for anything but he texts all the time wanting to know if I got anything.

 

Well regardless if I like it or not, I still hope you get one and have a good time. It's what matters to you so why would we not want want to know!

Yeah, I still love to hunt.
Not crazy though about the work I'm in for after the shot.
So nowadays I take the gun for a walk (Mrs Gritto's phrase).

It's quite different from just going on a hike.
You're there with a purpose, even if you don't intend to harvest one.
You're an Upper Paleolithic hunter. Which is what we still are.
Not necessary for humanity's survival any more, but that orientation is too recent to have been lost.

Hunters know what I mean, even if they wouldn't put it the same way.

 

I had both wrists done at 19. Here's what I remember about the surgery.

1. I told a joke that made all the surgical staff laugh just before they put me under.
2. It was the best nap I ever had.
3. I woke up super thirsty.

That's about it. There wasn't much pain at all.
