    Yes, I think they phased out the tidemasters, but I found the blanks so I built one with titanium recoil guides with a nice Fuji seat with plain old cork handle.

    I'll to take a look. I'm not so concerned about weight or warranty as I go through rods quickly. It's gotta have the right kind of 'finesse' for walking the dog with lures. I don't like them stiff rods like them carbon fiber pool sticks.

    Sweet! And yes the being stuck is no fun, but its usually to late when you figure out you have went to far. But I have a neighbor who has a big articulating 4 wheel drive tractor that he will let me borrow to pull it out.
