I was thinking it would be a good first handgun. I've been looking at 9mm also...

    Oh yeah.
Mine is olive drab and black.
I got it because it's a close match to my Walther PK380.
So I can practice with cheap .22 ammo.
    I really like it.

This one has a hammer, double /single action. The trigger is light and sweet when the hammer is back.
I'm too old to get used to a striker fired pistol.

    Boy, isn't that the truth.
I fired some cheap Rem Thunderbolt unplated ammo in it and it leaded up the rifling something terrible.
I only use CCI ammo in it now and no problems at all.

Yeah I don't understand why the 22 became so expensive. Like 10 yrs ago very cheap. Or cheap ish I should say.

It has inserts for the grip to make it fit your hand properly.
I feel that is very important if you expect to shoot straight.

It's big enough to fill your hand. But small enough to be easily concealable.
Anything smaller and I have trouble hitting anything.

Yeah I've only got a couple of guns too. Ones like I used in the military a 12 gauge and a Beretta. Not much, had the itch for a while to get more but I really don't need them. Not do I really have the money.

Yeah, I don't usually have money to spend on cool guns either. I just want to at least have a rifle and one or two handguns and a I'll be good to go!
