My 2014 Tacoma I just bought it In sept. It is jerking right around 1500 to 2000 rpms. It doesn’t do it if I’m accelerating at a good rate but it jerks if I stay around those rpms??? Spark plug issue?? Transmission?? I just need to know where to start to get it looked at

Yikes, sounds like Jimmys cutting truck. I would guess mass airflow sensor or possible throttle position sensor. Any check engine light or codes?

Sounds exactly like the problem my 2013, 108k 4wd had a couple months back. If I sped up pretty quick, it wouldn't do it. I had that problem for several weeks and then it went away. Took it to a mechanic but he couldn't recreate the problem so it was never solved.
So yes, the jerking problem went away but now its super sluggish. I'm not sure if the problems are related but my guess would be that they are.

Here's a list of things I've done to try and solve the problem:
    Air filter change
    MAF sensor clean
    Spark plugs checked
    AT fluid flush
    Differential flush

Read another post somewhere that mentioned TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and Shift Control Solenoid as a potential culprit. But I haven't gotten to that yet.
