I have lived in Alberta for 47 years and have never heard anyone say Aboot. Except for Americans making fun of Canadians.

I do say "eh" a lot... But not like Bob and Doug Mackenzie... It's just as a question... "i guess you heard the news eh?"

We have lots of prairies in Alberta. Saskatchewan and Manitoba have more prairies. Alberta has more of a diverse landscape with the Mountains and forests as well.

I've only been to Banff and Fort Mac so ya never saw any prairies haha.
But let me rephrase the only people I've ever heard say aboot are from Sask, Manitoba, or French canadian.

If you ever want to get bored driving. Saskatchewan and Manitoba are the places to do it. Thats the main reason I drive West or South.

I'm worried I'd fall asleep driving there. Thats whats stopping me driving to the west coast.

Just tie a rock to the bottom of your steering wheel and you'll be fine.

The good thing is that when you make it to the Mountains. The scenery is awesome and the drive is fun.
