I was shocked. Even more shocked when I went to buy replacements. Then realized “oh this is a thing”. $50 per cap. Jeeze!!!

    I feel for you ...

I once took my 2005 Tacoma into a shop to get some work done. When I picked it up the wheel caps were as crushed as a Budweiser can at a lunk head frat party. So I had to order new wheel caps -- they were not $50 a piece but I remember being pretty irritated about the whole thing.

In any case, if you are looking for an affordable set of wheels the American Racing ones are pretty good. And, if you need to you can order replacement caps for not a tremendous amount of money in case yours are stolen or just beaten to crap with a hammer.

At the time, mine were only $100 a wheel if I recall.

    I hope that helps ...

I would be pretty upset to pick up my truck in that condition. I hope they did the right thing.

Thank you for the site. I’m checking them out now. Pretty nice wheels on there and I like the visualize option. Thank you very much!!!

I don’t know why, but I feel like I would be sad to lose a shitty old shovel. Is there any other kind of shovel really???

Just take your wheels off and put 5 or 6 coats of black Plastic-dip On them and everything would blend in. Problem solved. Free advise for the day. Good luck.

Story of my life ... no they didn't do the right thing. They, of course, denied it all. But agreed that if I bought the replacement caps they would put them on for free. Such gentleman.

Another option would be to get the official Toyota part number and search eBay. I have a friend who was able to buy a set there for $40 for four. Might be worth the effort.

Best of luck to you ...
