New 2023 Tacoma 4X4 experiencing very "jerky" transmission...i.e. shifting hesitation, hard downshifting. Dealer says it needs software update that is not currently available for my vehicle due to "newness", 3000 miles.

Lol it's always been this way and always will be with 3rd gens. The transmission is one of the biggest issues.

Some tunes help fix the jerkiness of the transmission. I personally got a tune after the break-in period because I couldn't stand the jerkiness. I wouldn't say it's completely gone.... but it's much better.
