I have a bunch of stock stuff laying around if you need anything.

I'd do the same thing, but I'm well past the point of no return on my ride. Plus I just got back to work after being laid off from early Jan until late July.

Sorry to hear that, that’s rough, but glad you’re back to work now!
I have a line of most of what I need for stock stuff but there are a couple items I’m still searching for. I’ll shoot you a PM. Thanks!

    My Taco is officially gone.:pout:

The things I’ll miss the most are the compliments I always got on the color, the bed, and overall utility in that size truck.

It looks like I’ll be picking up a Jeep this weekend, 2012 or 2015 4 door, depending on how the deals go. I only plan on keeping the Jeep for about 1-2yr then getting a full size pickup. The Jeep will get a lift and 35’s right off the bat so I’ll have some fun with it.

For everyone’s sake, I hope Toyota addresses the poor drivability of the Tacoma because it’s otherwise an awesome truck!

    THE END.

Did you ever do a sound check to see how effective this mod was?

No, sorry man. I’m confident that it was not a placebo effect, so the novelty of getting numbers never won a spot on my ever growing to-do list.

No worries - I’m just trying to quiet down mine, there’s gotta be a solution out there. Thanx!

Give this a shot. It’s super cheap, doesn’t take very long, and easy to do & install. I would do it again if I bought another 3G.

Did this put any additional strain on heat/ac blower unit?

Technically, I have no clue and don’t know how you would best measure this.

From a practical perspective, i didn’t notice any issues so I doubt it. This is why you use open cell foam to still allow air flow and allow the vents to function. If you sealed them off, then yeah I’m sure you would have some issues.
