so it has come to my attention that most all of us hate our commutes to work, hate the traffic, (you left coast guys)

    so i have a question...

do you feel like you want to kill small animals to or fro work?

do you want to just drive over everyone in front of you?

do you want to drive at your own pace, everywhere you go?

well here it is, the next Tacomaworld GB....

The Martin Aircraft Company is releasing their $75,000 jetpack for sale to the public. It’s 200 horsepower with a range of 30 miles per tank of regular premium gasoline. It can go as high as 8,000 feet (estimated) and as fast as 60 mph. The two rotors are 1.7 feet wide and made of a carbon/Kevlar composite. It also has redundant systems and a built-in ballistic parachute. I’m pretty sure it also cures cancer in unicorns.
Since it only weighs ~250 pounds, it doesn’t require a pilot’s license to operate in the U.S. or the U.K. The Martin Aircraft Company does require you to take their safety course before they’ll deliver the jetpack, though.

    so who's on board???

I have a 75 km commute a day, I would rather not have my 1 1/2 hour traffic filled drive either

    WARNING!

First, Thats not a true "Jet Pack". I was truley disapoiinted when Mine showed up, only to find its a fan type propulsion. Also, BE SURE to fasten it securly to you when you go to use it....I didnt, and it took off without me. THIS IS NOT Covered underwarranty, and Im currently in deliberations with the manufacture.

If you can get the group buy at under $300,000 I'm in.

The last price check I did was around $345,000.

That's pushing the upper end of my price range...

    Shiot!

Thanks for the heads up. I was looking for the aerosol propulsion upgrade.

I was just about to get in if we we're under 300k.

    Whew. Close one...
