Just got a RTT from the CVT GB and it has won out for the kind of camping the fiancé and I do.

This is a heavy canvas tent that is amazing for base camping or family camping. It is "set up" in 90 seconds by just yanking up on a center section. It requires several mins of staking out before it is actually ready to use though. It has excellent ventilation due to the window design but can be zipped all the way up when it is really cold (4* at this past years CFW). The design is basically a Turbo Tent with a couple of improvements

When I bought the tent I had plans on getting an Oztent rv4 or 5 but was talked into this one due to extra ventilation and ceiling height. I bought it planning on using it for point A to point B trips and also base camp type trips. It is just too much for me to set it up every night on a long trip where I am staying somewhere different every night.

Throw in a cot, chair to change cloths, and small table and it is like a small cabin when you are staying at the same place multiple nights!

Hate to do it but this tent is just too expensive to have sitting around hardly used. I will buy a much cheaper, more basic tent when it gets colder.

I bought it new from http://www.familytentcamping.com/product/F30 last September. I have slept in it 8 nights since then. Still in excellent condition. No rips, stains, tears, or funky smells.

Several reviews can be found online along with photos that are much better than mine.

This is the F30 model. It is 3 meters x 3 meters. Inside I can stand up straight with ease ( I am 6'6"). It advertises that you can sleep six but realistically it is more like 3-4. It includes a porch with poles that can be added onto to make an additional room. It is quite large packed up. It takes up a third up of my 5' tacoma bed.

I paid $1100 for it and I think a fair "used" price is $875

I am located in Cartersville, GA. I can meet up halfway within a reasonable distance of 100 miles or so. Shipping on your dime but it is large and heavy so it will not be cheap.

Any questions just let me know.
