No lie. My nuts went into my throat! Knowing there was nothing we could've done except wait for the truck to come to a stop and hope you and Elsa made it out alive.

Fitting new patch, given my recent mystery dents from the last trip...

@dirty deeds I also found another reason to get a standard Tacoma. Ground cable was still too short to put the switch in the middle where I wanted and reach the kick panel ground, but it turns out that the clutch pedal is bolted to the frame so I hijacked that nut lol

    FTMFW!

I need to source some of those smaller switches that fit in the oem spots in front of the shifter

6 hours of driving and some Walmart parking lot wrenching later, goodbye softopper, hello @KB Voodoo high rack! These things look great in person!

    IMG_20170813_190930.jpg

I have nothing but great words to say about softopper's product and their customer service, my future vision for the truck just mandates a bed rack and not a soft top, and the rack-over-topper option just seemed overcomplicated.

Also got a new switch! (Which still doesn't fit but will be easier to make fit than the circle). The little truck lights up blue when on which I like cause again, I'm 12.

Did some cooler modifying to fit a cable and secured it to the bedrack.

My wallet will now bleed every time I go to the meat market and don't have an excuse anymore.

Also picture of new copilot just because.
