I had it in 4LO on that damn rock face! I will go back and make it over that thing a second time without help.
Just a bad line and never could find the right one from the day before when we all walked up it.

Kicking around the idea of forgoing the beadlocks now cause even the methods weigh over 30 pounds a wheel. @Robertocritser - was it you who said that running a narrower 16" wheel would help keep beads seated too ("poor man's beadlock")? Looking at the SCS F5s with 3.5" backspacing, and either 295 or 315 shoes.

Turns out 315/75/16s are actually a quarter inch bigger than my current 315/70/17s, so that's interesting. Lots of good tires available in that size, with high production numbers- so stomachable costs. If I went with the F5s over the Method 106s, I'd be saving somewhere in the neighborhood of $600...

Yea skinner wheels will help keep the bead seated. However the only true way to be worry free about debeading a tire is if you do get beadlocks. Also if you don't ever plan on going more than 35s then 16s will be ok. If you ever think you might wanna step up to 37s I'd say stick with 17" wheels
