Can 100% see you driving the AMG.

I've got a sweet Focus I'll sell you if you're in the market for a hatch/wagon. Real nice.

Will consider. Been pining after the e63 for a while. In wagon format, it is the ultimate no compromise vehicle. Just need to be able to get a hitch on it to tow around my baby boat

    Bunch 'o random stuff

Before you do that, can I ask 2 questions?
    1) Can you post a pic or two of the frame plates on your 4Ă— sliders? I've got a set inbound and I'm trying to decide if I want to use their plates or make some out of angle and wrap the bottom of the frame rail.
    2) How do you like the 700# springs? I can't remember if you had them on before the bumper/winch, but if so, was that too high of a spring rate? I'm looking at ADS, hopefully in a few months, but I was pretty sure I'd go with 600#, since I have a stock front end. Can you give me some insight?

    1) i could, but you dont need to make your own. Their plates work fine, ive had my whole truck parked on them, used them as jacking point multiple times, and also come down on them pretty hard with no issue. Pretty much any reasonable welding job straight to the frame will be sufficient.

    2) the 700lb springs are fine with weight. Depending on what your plans are, 600 may be a better fit for you. Truck rides fairly stiff but its not awful, and I got them for taking big bumps offroad, which they are great at.

I more or less stick with my local forums, research what I need to. Occasionally marvel at a friday dumpster thread and move on.

This build sucks, but I do have a build update.

I ripped all the coax out of my truck and ditched the CB. HAM only babyyyy

I also took my seat spacers out because I was getting sick of not being able to see traffic lights while I sat at intersections.

I'll let you all know when I do something else in 6 months.

    Also yes.

But tbh, the build is just "done." I don't expect anything fun to happen until the next time I need to buy new tires, then I'll get some lame-o ATs and pretend I'm proud of them.

I'll grab something off the zon. I don't have a mobile base station in the truck yet, I just use the handheld with a whip antenna. I'll let you know what I end up setting up, I'll order it before Rush
