Finally getting around to trying to be a more consistent poster on here and getting more involved with the community. My 2014 4x4 Base DCLB has seen a lot of changes since I picked it up a few years ago but I've got to the point where I feel I need some help and direction with my next steps so I decided to start this thread. Ill start off with showing ya what im working with now.

    Current Setup:
-Toytec Boss kit with Dakar HD Leafs
-Adjustable UCA (Forgot which ones at the moment)
    -Ebay Front/Rear Bumpers
    -Smittybilt 10k winch
-Currently running 285/70/17 Duratracs. Ran K02's previously with no complaints.
-Recently installed the 2tpam with ram mounts for my ipad and scanner and I love it.
-Prinsu racks front and back with roof mounted things always rotating depending on the season. Ive been running a smittybilt RTT for the past 2 summers which has been cool. Also, have a roof cargo box thats up there sometimes that I actually use for firewood so it doesn't come in contact with any of my gear. Also usually have my bike racks up there too but that puts my overall height to 10'6" which keeps me from being able to take a lot of parkways we have here in new england
-Running an ARE DCU cap I had custom ordered to be color matches and have the doors/toolboxes set up how I wanted.
-Inside the cap I'm running the Decked drawer system which is amazing. Previously I had a drawer system I made myself and this blows it out of the water.
-Up on the roof I have a cheap 31" lightbar, a set of Rigid pods, and a set of KC pods. In the bumper itself, I have OZ-USA amber pods wired to the fog light wiring. There are also KC pods on the back of the cap facing backward to use as reverse lights.

    Current Uses:
    -Daily Driver
-Work Truck that gets used 50-150 miles a day mainly highway (Always carrying a good bit of tools and gear for this, this is the main purpose of the decked drawers) Ipad gets used a bunch for this so I can GPS and be on the phone at the same time if need be. I also use fleetmatics to track my crews on it. Also gets used to run quickbooks online to throw together estimates and such on the road where theres no wifi.
-Winter roadtrip machine. Part of my work is in the swimming pool industry, so I get a lot of my free time in the winter and I love snowboarding and snowmobiling. I love being able to head north in a blizzard when the roads are trecherous.
-General summer roadtrips, mainly to go mountain biking all over new england. This truck has been back and forth accross the country 3 times. The truck gets camped out of during these periods and thats when Im running the RTT. Initially, I camped in the bed of the truck but that became an issue when I realized id rather keep my gear in there and not have to dump it all out to use it to sleep in.
-Offroad fun machine occasionally. I want to start being apart of more meetups and trail runs, its just kind of tough because there isnt much of a scene here in south jersey.

    Current Questions and Contemplations:
-I plan on regearing soon to get my torque and MPG back. I'm on the fence if doing F/R air lockers is worth it (I'm thinking no). I have had issues getting stuck in this truck before but I think it was more so my lack of knowledge of the 4wd modes along with the TRAC/Auto LSD settings. One thing holding me back on this is deciding if I should go 35's at this point. It would be more for the ability to drive through deeper snow and such. One of the main disadvantages of thevDCLB is that wheelbase just sucks and its easy to get high centered. It also just looks so much better with 35's. On my 1st gen I ran 35's and had tubbed the firewall. I still need to do more research on this but if anyone wants to make any quick notes on that thought process it would be appreciated
    - I recently ordered an SPOD and im looking forward to rewiring everything more simply. At this point im going to recontemplate my lighting setup. I really want some really long throw beams for night driving when im out in the middle of no where. I think im gonna cut the weird short loop off the ebay bumper and build a taller one and hang 4 KC apollos in there. I also ordered hood ditch light mounts to get some of those pods off the roof so they are more useful for actual driving. I do plan on keeping the lightbar up there but I need to notch the prinsu wind deflector so I can mount the bar lower.
    - I have a bed slider thing out of one of my work trucks that got completely rusted over. Im currently refinishing it and I think i will be putting in ontop of my decked drawers.
-I hate driving with the tent on the roof so I think i might either get a little camper or build a trailer for it

I think thats it for now. Thanks for reading all this!

As far as going 35's is it a worth while option to switch over the glass flared fenders and then just pound the fuck out of the pinch weld and cut the cab mount further? I dont feel like having to cut and deal with the stock fenders/flares like I did on my first gen

Im dumb. Yeah lemme look into that. I love my local shop and they do tons of trans stuff but didnt wanna regear but im sure they would be fine with just dropping them out and shipping them. Any general advice regarding the locker situation? I would probably either do a truetrac in the rear and nothing in the front, or ARB front and rear.
