Hmm it may be the culprit for another noise I'm hearing but that's still a lower pitch than I'm hearing. I'll try to get a video soon

yeah man, check it out. it drove me absolutely crazy when I would go through a drive up ATM or drive through restaurant. the sound would echo off the walls or curbing even louder. ironically had new shoes put on and that was the culprit. fixed.

hope its something simple like that for you.

I used to shoot my 22 out the window at whistle pigs in the desert and I bet there was hundreds of casings in the heater venting...it would spit them out once in a while....:notsure:might not be your issue unless you owned my 98 or 95 tacoma /toyota ;)

Did you check to see if your brake pads are moving / rattling around when you hear that sound? You could try dabbing the contact points with grease?

Something on top of your skid plates rattling around a small stone dropped hardware etc.

Heat shields are always rattling when welds crack.

Since it sounds like it is coming from the front .

OP check back in when you figure it out.

It'll help others diagnose but more importantly there's bragging rights, for the rest of us, on the line.

Yeah so I’m an idiot, there’s a hidden key box down there so pretty sure it was actually KEYS JANGLING.

Too funny. Reminds me of when I'm looking everywhere for something and then find it in my pocket. Several years ago my family and I flew back to AL from TX and when we landed in Huntsville, AL and retrieved our luggage, I couldn't find my keys anywhere. We were going through our luggage on the floor right there in baggage claim. No keys. Didn't know what else to do so we rented a car to drive to Decatur(30 mins away) to stop by MIL house. When we got there and parked, I placed the rental keys in my pocked and guess what I found..... my keys. :der:

That’s the kind of secret you take to the grave. Just toss them in the lake and pretend you never found them.

“I guess we’ll never know what happened to my keys, honey...”

    lol
