JL Audio 10w1v3-4 Packaging Box

Random question, but does anyone have a jl audio 10w1v3-4 packaging box laying around they’d care to part with? I got mine recently installed but have decided to swap out for the TW3. My box got thrown out by the janitor at work.. for some stupid reason. I need the box in order to return to Crutchfield for a refund/exchange. I’d pay to have it shipped to me if anyone has it. It would still be cheaper than having to sell the sub myself.

 

Can't you just return it with the TW3 box? I mean there gonna resell it as open box anyways.

 

Figured they’d notice and that it might be a different size due to the smaller depth

If im not mistaken, I think they have serial numbers on the box aswell as on the speaker it self.

I dont know if they would check that, but it might be something for you to look into before you try to return. Maybe send them a generic email from another address asking them what to do since you dont have the box.

 

Hmm, I didn't recall seeing one on the box when I opened it. It could I suppose but I'd risk it.

 

An update. Turns out they do have serials on the box, so couldn’t do that. But Crutchfield will accept it but charge a 10% restock fee and $10 shipping fee. So not a total loss.
