It comes with a Tacoma armrest console section pre-modified and fitted so you do not have to cut up your current console. Makes is a quick plug n play swap / install.

This was designed to fit the 2nd Gen Access Cab.

Note: You can use this with a double cab IF
1) you don't care about your flip/fold rear seat as you can no longer flip them to access the compartment underneath.

2) IF you use this mod https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/simple-yet-satisfying-dclb.369779/page-10#post-13208367 and no longer "flip" your rear seat, but are ok to pull the pin and "yank" the rear seats.

Up to you. I was using this in my DCSB.
