I went and got my brake lines made today no more hard lines on the truck all braded SS lines from the MC to the calipers

I also picked up all the fittings and hose for my hydro assist. Tomorrow afternoon i'll be plumbing the power steering and putting the oil pan on the truck so i can start this bitch.

I thought you have to have hardline to maintain greater brake pressure. I know SS doesn't expand as much as rubber but it still expands a little where hardline don't expand at all.

I dont have to do anything :p but hard lines do expand not much but they do. I went SS for a lot of reasons they are seaier to install and replace on the trail if need be. The pedal feel wont even be noticable over running hard lines. And i didnt have to buy all the tools to flair and bend the hard lines.
Just under 30ft and its about $350 for all of them 7 lines total.

I Picked up a yellow top this morning and fired up the truck it's purrs like a monster (No muffler right now ) The modified oil pan still holds over 6 quarts of oil :D it's nice to here the truck run again. I have no power steering right now i needed the High and low pressure fittings for the steering box but it's all plumbed and ready to rock once i get those on Saturday. I also need to relocate the battery somewhere else there is no room for it under the hood now I'm thinking in the bed or the frame rails under the bed.

I'd suggest the bed. Then stick a set of leads on a plug someplace easy to get to.

Did you plumb the brake lines yet?
