1.75" ain't bad at all..... but with your panhard, shouldn't you (theoretically) be getting more rear steer during articulation from the right side than the driver side? With how long your links are, it's probably pretty small, but still....

IIRC.... didn't you say one of your tires comes closer to the ORI than the other side, during articulation? It would make sense to me if your left rear tire was closer to the strut assuming everything else is straight. :p
The difference in rear steer is primarily due to the length and angle of the linkage. Those 4runner's control arms were way too short for the amount of travel they were getting. Longer, flatter links would help that.

It's pretty much the same thing as leafs.... Just think of the front half of the leaf pack like a lower control arm on a 4runner. I don't know exactly how long the links are on 4runners, but a leaf sprung Tacoma with the stock front hanger location (about 24" from front eye to axle I think), compared to a 4runner with the same amount of travel and 20" (random number) control arms, the 4runner will have more rear steer on articulation. Especially when you also take the angle of the front half of the leaf pack and lower control arm angle into consideration.... :) Remember how much rear steer Andrew's jeep had coming up the escalator? He's leaf sprung, but his leaf packs were so short and he was just getting so much travel with his extended shackles.
uuhhhh Yeah, set-up plays a large role, but by their very nature, double triangulated 4-links will have much less rear steer than a single triangulated 4-link or 3-link! No question about it....

Man, I can't wait to put a solid axle in mine. That thing looks so mean. Now it's time to cut some sheet metal.

Oh that's right. I forgot that you have the bushwacker cutout flares. I can see the fenders are cut now. When I saw the flares in the picture I was thinking that you need to remove them to get the needed clearance.

The fronts are pretty hacked up from me moving the axle forward but the rears didn't take as much as i thought. I think i'm going to take a little more off the top of the rear bushwhackers just so i dont rip them off if i do hit them.

Oh ok. I think it's awesome that you are going to be able to keep the flares, even if they are cut up. It keeps it looking more like a stock(ish) truck lol.

It is 1 inch higher then ride height in the front right now and about 2" low in the rear. The ride height will be the same on the street as the trail.
